The Benedictine Sisters of St. Agnes (Chipole) was founded on June 5, 1938 with a mission to serve people of all walks of life, particularly the poor in the community.  In the southwestern village of Chipole in Tanzania, we have established a kindergarten, primary school, secondary school, trade school, orphanage, and dispensary.  In 2002, we implemented the Chipole Development Program to assist with the medical and social ramifications of HIV/AIDS.  We continue to develop programs to support the social, economic, and spiritual life of men, women, and children in the Chipole area.  We invite you to explore our web site to learn more about our projects.  We welcome your support, donations, volunteerism, and ideas so we can persevere in our efforts to serve those in need.
